Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can babies have yogurt?
A: Yes, most experts agree that 6 months is a good age to begin eating yogurt as this is when babies are typically showing the developmental milestone for starting solids. Yogurt is nutritional and beneficial, so it is no surprise that yogurt is served to babies all over the world!
A: Studies have shown numerous health benefits for regular yogurt eaters. This is because yogurt is a nutrient-rich food for all ages! It is a great source of protein, calcium, healthy fat (which is crucial for brain development), magnesium, potassium, vitamin B-12, and some key fatty acids that our bodies need to stay healthy. Yogurt is also soothing for babies when they are teething. In addition, yogurt is great for kids, because it is so easy to eat! When tummy troubles decrease kids' appetites for other solid foods, yogurt is a fantastic 'go to' option. Since probiotics in yogurt may help with constipation, yogurt is also a great choice to get things moving again. Moreover, yogurt is beneficial for adults, especially older adults, because it has been found to reduce the risk of inflammation, heart disease, and osteoporosis. So, since yogurt has the ability to fine-tune our digestive and immune systems, it's clear that it brings amazing benefits to people of all ages!
A: The USDA guidelines recommend that children under 2 years old get no added sugar from their diet, yet many commercial brands contain added ingredients, such as sugar and artificial flavors. In contrast, our yogurt is made from the highest quality organic milk and it contains millions of live and active cultures obtained through the natural fermentation process, so you can get your fix of health-promoting probiotics! We add no sugar, no sweeteners, no flavorings, and no fillers of any kind! As a result, Kiddo Table yogurt is a healthier alternative to the traditional store-bought yogurt.

A: Studies have shown that some substances used to make plastic products can "leach" or "migrate" into the food and drinks we consume. Therefore, we use glass containers to ensure the highest standards for health and safety for our products. We care about your health and we care about the environment.
Q: Which yogurt should I choose: baby, kids, or adult?
A: All Kiddo Table yogurt is made from the highest quality ingredients. Every single jar of our organic, non-GMO yogurt contains millions of live and active cultures and we don't add sugar or fillers of any kind. So, no matter what yogurt you pick -- Baby, Kid, or Adult -- you will get the health-promoting probiotics. The difference is in texture, taste, and live cultures. While anyone can enjoy the purity of our baby yogurt, it is recommended for babies 6-12 months of age. This is because it has the lightest texture of all three yogurts and the cultures that are most appropriate for this age. The Kid yogurt has a slightly thicker texture and a very neutral taste. We recommend it for kids 1-12 years of age. Our Adult yogurt is similar to our Kid yogurt, but it's the most creamy of all three. With that said, you cannot go wrong, really, with any of them; so try them all and find your favorite!
